Anyone that has a personal computer is going to want or have a Inkjet printer or at least some sort of printer. Since most computer users are going to want to print in color than the only economical suggestion is going to be to have a color ink jet printer. Luckily for these common users, there are hundreds of such printers available and it is all about finding the right printer to match the needs of the user.
Ink jet printers, most people already know, are the small inexpensive printers that use ink to be combined together to get a picture of what you see on your computer screen out on paper. With the better printers, you can make pictures that are as good quality as you might from a Photography developer. As more and more computer users also have digital cameras the need for photo quality ink jet printers becomes more relevant.
The exact method that the printer uses to put the ink on the paper is not something that most people need to know or are interested in. All most people want to know is will the print out look good. If your printer is in good condition then that answer is nearly always a yes. The magic used is something that we really do not have to worry about. The technology is so advanced now it has moved beyond our knowledge. Most people do not know how their lights work either, all they want to know is will I get light when I try to use it. And if the answer is yes then the rest is not something anyone really cares about.
The only cost that the common ink jet printer user has to go to is the cost of ink. The fact is that this is really where most of the income of these manufacturers is made. It is no coincidence that the printers are getting smaller all the time. This gives the manufactures the reason or is that excuse, to have smaller ink cartridges. That means anyone that uses his or her printer a lot is going to see quite a bit of expense in the way of ink.
One way around this is to replace the ink with a re-fill kit. While this can be a way to take care of the issue but it is not really something that the common user as it can be difficult to do and very messy as well. But it can save you some money. The kits are designed for any consumer but only those with large needs and small pocketbooks should really use them.
One last thing, if you do not have your inkjet printer already, it might be a good idea to get a printer that uses individual color cartridges so that you will only have to pay for the colors you use. If you have those printers that have a single multi-color cartridge you will be wasting ink and money in the long run. By Jake Ruston |
